All I ask for when I go to a sporting event is to have the game played hard and to have the outcome in doubt late into the game. The Section 3 AAAA quarter final game between the Richfield Spartans and the St. Louis Park Orioles met both criteria. Throw in one of the best quarterbacks in the state, a back-up quarterback needing to come off the bench and a runningback on one good leg for good measure. Oh yeah, the game came down to the last play.
