Sometimes the best way to go into a season is without any expectations. Low expectations can help out a team in at least two ways. Low expectations can keep a team loose. If no one expects them to win, they have no pressure and they can play loose and relaxed. Low expectations can also focus a team and give them an us against the world mentality.
