September 21, 2011 it's nice to celebrate a big victory over a ranked opponent, there is usually the next game to prepare for, and that is exactly what Concordia Academy was doing Tuesday afternoon as we visited practice to present quarterback Dan Hartman with his "Player of the Week" game ball. Hartman's 5 touchdown performance (4 passing, 1 rushing) was key in the Beacon's 43-34 win over Breck. Next up for Concordia is another Tri-Metro Conference battle, a home game with St. Anthony Village. Dan's teammates and coaches were more than happy to poise with him for a presentation photo, but not without some good natured ribbing. Oh the price some players pay for the spotlight.
