More reports of early training from Ricardo Johnson III - Cretin-Derham Hall, Michael Murray - Fridley High & Jordan Hein - Perham High School. It's interesting to hear about the first days of the new season from the individual players perspective:

Ricardo Johnson III - CDH: We had our first workout on our new turfed south field! Its funny because today I wasn't thinking about the competition, in squad or this season, but I actually thought about all the people that helped me get to this place where I feel calmly confident and physically ready to go. There is a core group of us who have worked hard together since the end of last season and each of us have showed up today ready for whatever tomorrow brings.

Michael Murray - Fridley High School: The first day of two a days was great, all of our players and coaching staff came with a lot of energy and everyone was flying around making plays, even if it was a walk through, everyone was tuned in and hustling. I think this year is gonna be a pretty special year for us. The hardest drill was probably the 15 100 yard sprints, those were pretty tough.

Jordan Hein - Perham: Two a days went great today for the Perham YellowJackets! For practice we did the usual, go through the offense and defense, and we conditioned at the end! Once practice was over we had a team lift in the weight room. We have a lot of players returning this season and good team speed! It should be a fun year for Perham!
