43Hoops over Big Game Sports in Semi

Big Game Sports (BGS) has had a solid summer. They advanced to the semi finals of the Twin Cities Summer Classic today in Hopkins Minnesota.

BGS gained that reputation knocking off some teams that few expected them to defeat. Earlier this summer they defeated the 43Hoops 17U-Chatman squad and they basked in the glory of that accomplishment.

Yesterday 43Hoops restored harmony with a very solid win over BGS in semi final action. The last time the team met the Hoops squad was missing big man Mike Bruesewitz and today Mike made his presence know with a thunderous dunk in the opening seconds of play.

The entire 43Hoops team played inspired ball all game long. Chris Halvorsen also had some crushing dunks and everyone else played solid team basketball. I talked with some of the BGS sports players following the game. They were good sports about the loss and noted that they just did not come ready to play at the level necessary to beat this talented Hoops team.
