All Star Classic loaded with Talent!

The Grassroots Alumni All Star Classic has become one of the best
showcases of basketball talent in Minnesota. This year, the following
local sports celebrities will be participating as players and/or
1. Trent Tucker, Former NBA pro and University of Minnesota
2. Santino Clay, Current Harlem Globetrotter from Richfield High
3. Michael Much, Owner and Publisher, from Rivals and
Yahoo Sports
4. Samuel "Big Sam" Williams, long-time AAU coach and sports director at
5. Walter "Q Bear" Banks, long-time AAU coach and radio host at KMOJ
As stated by Brian Sandifer of Grassroots Hoops Club, "This years event
is poised to become one of the premier basketball events in Minnesota.
Over the last 15 years, Grassroots Hoops Club has been driven by one
mission; to create long lasting relationships within the basketball
community by the young people who play. This event is a fulfillment of
that mission."
The event will be Sunday, June 22nd, 2014 and will be held at Concordia
University in St. Paul, MN and doors will open at 1pm. The event includes
a dunk contest, 3 point shootout, and All-star game.
