AWARDS STACK UP FOR GRIND SESSION ALL STAR LU'CYE PATTERSON!

One of Minnesota's top talented players has awakened the doubters and made them believers. His name is Lu 'Cye Patterson from Minnesota Prep Academy. Patterson took the Grind Session by storm in his second year. The Minneapolis native whom many considered low Divison I, high D II talent has once again proven, you can't put stock in what others think!

Patterson has always played against the best talent around the country since third grade. The Grind Session was just an extension of the competition and style he had grown accustomed too. This year his experience playing against top national talent emerged as he led the Minnesota Prep Academy team to a remarkable 25-9 in one of the toughest Prep Circuits in the country. The circuit was littered with top national ranked talent and future NBA prospects.

Patterson averaged 21 ppg, 7.2 rebounds, and 8.3 assists in the Grind Session. His performance earned him Grind Session Offensive Player of the Year as well as a second All-Star honor. Patterson was also runner up to Co MVPs Jalen Green whom some consider being the number one player in the country and Daishen Nix who is headed to UCLA next fall for Grind Session MVP. Quite an accomplishment for another Minnesota native and easily one of the top five players in the state of Minnesota!

Lu 'Cyes recruiting has definitely picked up after receiving some pretty significant hardware and etching his name on a list of top nationally ranked talent. Congratulations to Lu 'Cye and his coach Lucus Patterson who was selected as one of the Head Coaches of the Grind Session All-Star game and runner up for Coach of the Year!
