This weekend Grassroots Sizzle 17U made its debut in the national Recruit Look Kansas Showcase and did not disappoint. Easily one of the top programs in the country from the Under Armor Circuit displayed why they considered one of the best. Grassroots sizzle is loaded with division one talent.

Braeden Carrington Sizzle's 6'4" SG is a major problem for opponents. Carrington scored from all levels last weekend leading the Sizzle to a 3-1 record. Carrington is known for his knockdown shooting from well beyond the arc and unselfish play which I believe is the only knock against him. A player of Carrington's skill level and propensity to score should do what comes naturally...score. It's something he will pick up on the AAU circuit considered one of the grittiest of all major circuits.

Braeden Carrington is a scoring machine when dialed in. He can get buckets in a hurry and in bunches as evidenced Saturday night in the Sizzle's only loss in the showcase. Down twelve with less than a minute left in the game, Carrington knocked down a couple of threes alongside Damarion Watson-Saulsberry to bring the Sizzle within 3 points with just seventeen seconds left in the game.

Carrington is definitely one of the nation's best shooters who will make an immediate rise in ranking and notoriety among college coaches. He already holds offers from high major programs such as Florida, Seton Hall, Missouri, and Minnesota. At this stage, Carrington reminds our staff of Tyler Herro who went bananas in his last season of AAU basketball.
