Hopkins power forward Mike Broghammer has had an outstanding weekend playing at the Peach Jam and his efforts have led him to receiving additional scholarship offers. The 6-foot-7 220 pound Broghammer had three schools sitting a top of his list but the recent addition of a couple high major schools could effect that top three.

National Rivals recruiting analyst Justin Young was able to see Broghammer play Saturday night and was very impressed with Mike's ability in the post. "It wouldn't come as a big surprise if a high-major school were to pop and offer a free ride after this week's work from the Peach Jam."
And a day after that comment Broghammer did receive a pair of high major offers plus another mid-major offer. "I received offers from Notre Dame, Penn State, and Santa Clara this weekend," said Broghammer this morning after playing the Mainstreets Express. "We won the game today by five points." The Panthers were 3-2 in the event after the game this morning.
Mike's top show was put on against a team called Athlete's First. With several college coaches in attendance Broghammer exploded for 22 points and seven boards.
And Sunday morning Broghammer was assigned to guard Team Florida's three star center Kyryl Natyazhko and Mike did a solid job holding the 6-foot-9 post to nine points. Broghammer scored eight of his squad's points while the team went on to victory.
Mike now holds offers from Colorado State, Illinois State, Southern Illinois, Western Michigan, Notre Dame, Santa Clara, Penn State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, and Lehigh.
