Busacks double-double keeps Cards undefeated

Redwood Valley improved to 4-0 last night with their 78-67 victory over Marshall who has dropped their first three games of the season. Minnesota State-Mankato signed Michael Busack controlled the game with a massive 32 points and 15 rebounds.
Marshall has run into some hard luck early this season. They lost to top ten ranked Montevideo by three to open the year and then lost to Fairmont by three points again. Last night they hung in with the Red Birds until the final minutes.

"(The) game was tied with about four minutes to go and we went on a 15 to 4 run to end the game," said Redwood Valley Cardinals Coach Markus Okeson. "We made free throws and got defensive stops down the stretch.
"We took care of the ball and made free throws down the stretch. We also got key stops on defense down the stretch to extend out lead."
Busack had the massive night plus he received important contributions from senior post Beau Stough (15 points) and junior point guard Alec Koster (14 points).
