DeLaSalle starts strong - 70-55 over Sartell-St.Stephen

The 2013 Minnesota State baskeball tournament is underway and in early round action DeLaSalle continues it's roll with a 70-55 win over Sartell-St.Stephen.
DeLaSalle had four players in double didgits led by Reid Travis with 23, followed by James Lawson -14, Jarvis Johnson - 10, and Sacar Anim with 10. Luke Scott contributed 7.

Parker Hagen put up 19 for Sartell-St.Stephen. Brandon Snoberger - 12, and Tim Immelman - 10.
Sartell-St. Stephen picked up more fouls with 10, while the Islander had 8. Travis Reid dominated the boards with 16 rebounds. Snoberger had 6 for Sartell-St. Stephen.
Turnovers killed Sartell-St. Stephen - they had 16 while DeLaSalle only 7. Blocks were tied with 2 for both Tim Immelman for Sartell-St. Stephen and 2 for Reid Travis.
DeLasalle is the second top scoring team in Class AAA, Austin hold down the number one spot. Johnson plays Delano at 12:00 today for the second tournament game in Class AAA. Leading game winner, Austin plays Blake at 2:00 and Grand Rapids meets Marshall at 4:00. Action continues tomorrow at Target Center with games at 12:00 and 2:00.
Leaders Austin and DeLaSalle are on seperate side of the bracket and are strong favorites to meet in the finals.
