If Edina can pick up this Section win it's off to the State Tournament and a battle for the top honors. A trip to the boy's basketball venue for Edina, and a look up in the rafters, will reveal many years of banners for the enduring Hornet's basketball program. However, a lot of those banners are from some time back. Lynch would like to put some recent banners up there before he heads off to College.
Reggie responded to questions about the upcoming game with Hopkins.
"I'm really feeling great confident in our team, me and Graham will surely carry the team offensively with 3s, and drives by graham, and with inside moves and dunks from me.
I'm happy with Dane Mark and the other varsity players, for they are really showing what they've got in these conference and section games. Our whole team has no doubt that Hopkins can be another win for us."
Lynch is respectful of the talent on the Hopkins squad.
"We know that Jake Wright is going to be looking to shoot , he is the best 3 point shooter in the State and we know this, Jamal will be a threat from everywhere, and Kamali will be looking to draw the fouls.
There are other people we need to lock down, but I'm excited and confident that we've got this game under control..."
Fans looking for one of the best matchups of the season can head over to Osseo, MN for the game this coming Tuesday evening. Get your tickets early, the place is sure to be packed.
