Getting a leg up early: Jon Coppens - Holy Family kicker
Recruiting has really picked up over the last month for Jon Coppens. Camp and Junior Day invites are rolling in from across the country.
Coppens can kick the ball and has excellent stats. The result is more national attention as the word spread about his abilities. He talked about recent recruiting.

"This past month has been a great month of recruiting for me. Things are really starting to pick for me and it is exciting. I have a gotten many Camp Invites and a couple of Junior Day Invites."
Coppens has excellent grades and that opens doors. He has heard from Princeton and Cornell, who are always in search of athletes with strong academics.
Junior day invites are a good sign of interest and invites have come in this month from Cornell and Akron. He also has invites to spring games and practices from Midwest programs Minnesota and South Dakota State.
Coppens carries a 4.0 GPA at the private Holy Family Catholic High School and will graduate in 2015.
