Johnson’s recruitment is on the same track as Minnesota greats Joe Mauer, Mike Floyd, and Seantrel Henderson. That's an amazing feat since he plays on the same football teams as elite quarterback Jalen Suggs who has been offered by high major programs like Ohio State to play football and basketball.

The 6'4" Outside Linebacker from St. Paul Minnesota has put those skills that college coaches covet on display this season leading SMB/Minnehaha Academy to their first ever Minnesota football state championship. Kaden Johnson made a meteoric rise to stardom after an All-State performance of 100 plus tackles, 30 tackles for loss, and 1 pick six as a sophomore.

Johnson's first offer came from Iowa University then the rest of the Big Ten conference followed. This fall, Johnson added the illustrious SEC conference to his list with an offer from Vanderbilt. Rivals recently considered him the number one football player in the state.

Kaden Johnson wants everyone to know, he is humbled by the number one honor but understands there is much work that needs to be done. His goal is to repeat as state champions in football and basketball for a third year in a row!
