Lumpkin accepted the Wildcat offer over offers from American, Drake, Holy Cross, Indiana State, Lehigh, Princeton, Richmond, and Santa Clara.
Sanjay also had interest from Boston College, Harvard, Illinois, Stanford, and Washington State.
The 6-foot-5/6-foot-6 small forward prospect was offered by Coach Bill Carmody in late April.
Lumpkin will be listed as the second ranked prospect in the state of Minnesota's 2012 class when the new Minnesota Preps rankings come out in the next 24 hours.
