Marshall adds three more

St. Paul Johnson guard Marcus Marshall recently added three more offers, pushing his overall number to a dozen. Considered one of the elite mid-major recruits in all of the Midwest, Marshall consistently scored in front of coaches in Indianapolis, Chicago and Milwaukee last week. Not only did he impress the masses, but he led 43 Hoops to several wins as well.
"Marcus received an official offer from Missouri State Sunday," said Marshall's high school (assistant) and AAU coach Al Harris. "Marcus also just picked up official offers from Wisconsin-Green Bay and Kent State."

This group combines with his other offers: Albany, Buffalo, Florida Gulf Coast, Indiana State, Murray State, Northern Illinois, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Missouri-Kansas City.
Marshall has also had some high majors call in the past three months. There was interest from Iowa, plus Minnesota watched him at open gym and made some calls.
A Rivals.com national recruiting analyst had this to say about Marcus:
"A relatively unknown point guard from Minneapolis heading into the July evaluation period, Marshall now has nearly 10 mid-major scholarship offers to his name. Guys like him are what the summer is all about. He led his 43 Hoops squad to some good wins, played the right way and as a result he's seen his options open up."
