MN PREP ACADEMY SHARPENS SKILLS IN GRIND SESSION

Minnesota Prep Academy has to be the most dedicated organization on the Grind Session this season. They comprehend the magnitude of playing against the best players in high school on a regular basis. The Minnesota Prep coaching staff are witnessing their players getting better with every opportunity on the court.

The team recently played in Denver Colorado and refused to let weather deter them. Flights were grounded so they trekked across a wintery Minnesota tundra in a fifteen passenger van to Denver for the Grind Session event.

Exhausted, legs stiff, they climbed out of a crowded van and played their first game against a very tough Our Savior Lutheran team from New York. Our Savior Lutheran is loaded with division one talent headed to high major programs.

Minnesota Prep Academy didn't disappoint. They played Our Savior Lutheran very tough before running out of gas. The 15 hour drive through a winter storm took its toll. What stood out was Minnesota Prep Academy's grit and resolve on the court. The New York Grind Session Championship front runner had their hands full. Lucas and staff didn't make any excuses on the loss. They believe you get better by seizing the moment and competing against the best players consistently.

Minnesota Prep Academy might be one of the most underrated teams on the Grind Session. They are led by 4 star recruit Dj Jefferson whom many believe will be a one and done. He is supported by one of the biggest stock risers nationally, Tavian Banks who also is a high major prospect. I look for Minnesota Prep Academy to make a deep run in the World Championship behind director Donnell Bratton and Head Coach Lucas Patterson's leadership.
