More offers, interest for Muscala

Reports continue to flow through the recruiting world about Roseville's Mike Muscala who continues to add offers and interest. As a 16-year-old senior to be, the 6-foot-8 Muscala plays both forward positions with agility and that ability has schools from around the nation calling.
Muscala received his first offer from South Dakota but two more upper Midwest schools have now offered.

"Mike just called me to say the UND (North Dakota) Head Coach had just called him and offered a scholarship," said Mike's father Bob Muscala. "Mike also met with coaches from Concordia (St. Paul) and they offered him a scholarship. That is a great group of coaches and a great program that does a lot for basketball.
"As of today, these are the 17 division one programs that have made recruitment contacts with Mike. Those schools are American University, Bucknell, Columbia University, Cal Poly, Denver University, Detroit University, Harvard, Illinois State, Valparaiso, Washington State, Princeton, Santa Clara, Southern Methodist University, University of South Dakota, University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, University of North Dakota, and Wofford."
This is a list that is anticipated to grow over the next couple of weeks. This winter Mike had a solid junior year playing for Roseville and then Muscala joined Mitch Ohnstad's MSB Roadrunners for AAU basketball.
"Ohnstad has been a terrific Coach for Mike and has really helped him to elevate his game," said Muscala. "Mike's plan is to work out with Mitch several times a week from July 15 thru the start of high school."
