Could the 6'9" high flying wing from Cretin Derham Hall be the best-unsigned prospect in the Midwest? The 6'9" Chatman is a young senior whose Grandfather stood close to 7 feet. That's right folks...Chatman isn't even done growing! Chatman started his career off at DeLasalle where he played for Thorson who wanted to bring him along slowly.

The parents decided to downsize and move to Saint Paul which allowed for him to transfer to Cretin Derham Hall. Cretin began to play him more off the bench as a junior to finally letting him get down at the end of the season. With more time on the floor, Chatman began to prove himself making valuable plays which led Cretin to the State tournament. The summer is where Chatman began to flourish!

He played with Rene Pulley's Pulley Panthers on the EYBL with the best Point Guard in the country Tre Jones! Playing with Jones was a blessing. Jones brought out the best in Chatman while on display in front of college coaches.Currently, Chatman might be the best uncommitted Senior prospect in Minnesota.

Coaches from the major conferences are starting to take notice. Chatman's best years are in front of him as he continues to grow and begin displaying the jump shot. Chatman is one of two players from Cretin Derham Hall nominated for Mr. Basketball.
