NEW LIFE ACADEMY'S 6'8" ERICK READER EMERGES AS PLAYER TO WATCH!

New Life Academy's Erick Reader has emerged as one of the top players in class 2023 in the state of Minnesota. Reader, who stands 6'8" with a couple of inches to left to grow, has New Life poised to advance to the Minnesota State High School State championships.

Erick Reader is a Larry Suggs protege with a game similar to Gonzaga's Chet Holmgren, whom many believe will be the number one pick in this year's draft. Suggs is responsible for a handful of Minnesota players playing in the NBA, and Holmgren.

Reader is averaging close to a double double with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. Reader is a long and lean shooter with a high basketball IQ. He has great size as a wing. He displays the patterned Larry Suggs moniker, "Guards come in all sizes".

The 6'8" Reader is also a knock down shooter from well beyond the arc. He will continue to excite college coaches with his bounce and ability to spot up and shoot. He also is able to lead the break and score in transition. Very impressive player with untapped potential.
