At MinnesotaPreps we do football stories every day, all year round. As part of that coverage we make lots of visits.
During the spring and summer we attend a number of 707 leagues. We also get out to training facilities around the area and visit lots of schools to check out their off-season speed and weight training.
Each year we lose lots of kids that we have gotten to know as they go off to college. Our visits and stories help us to meet the next class long before the season begins.
The video at the top of the story is from a recent 707 get-together at the Minnetonka Dome. We met a bunch of players there and did a couple onsite video interviews as well as captured several hundred action shots for our records and for use in future stories.
This coming Sunday we will be covering some 707 action at Holy Angels, then Wednesday we stop by Prior Lake to do a story on their speed training program. We have a visit in the works to visit Stillwater and check out their updated weight room.
