On the road with Johnson and crew

More and more Minnesota football players are spending time out of State participating in Invitational events, camp, combines, Junior days and more.
This past weekend Ricardo Johnson III and a number of other Cretin-Derham Hall players attended an event in Michigan. Johnson talked about the visit.
"Today Tim Gordon, Brison White, Jo Jo Garcia, Jashon Cornell and I all participated in the Invitational. MaxEx put on the event and it was hosted by Grand Valley State in Allendale Michigan. Great Event, a precursor to their Sound Mind Sound Body event this summer and the CDH team did really did well.
The group took advantage of the trip to make some additional stops.
" We left Minnesota on Thursday night. Visited Northwestern who indicated they wanted
to see me throw at their camp this summer and an offer would be forth coming. We
visited Notre Dame who showed a lot of interest in Jashon and we also visited Western
Michigan's Spring Practice."
This is an great way to gain experience in the off-season, get seen by College coaches, and improve the odds of finding a good fit for college. Another group of Minnesota players is currently spending time training in South Carolina. There story will be coming up shortly.
