ONE MORE TO GO! USA MENS 19U PLAYS FOR GOLD AFTER ROUTING LITUANIA

USA Men's 19U World Cup Team is on the verge of snapping their Gold medal drought. Today they gave Lituania the CLAMP and BUCKETS...many of them en route to a 102 - 67 win.

The game was really not in doubt. Lituania did get as close as seven in the second quarter before the USA turned up the heat! Lead by Jalen Green's steal and nasty dunk, then Jalen Suggs back to back steal and a change of speed layup the tide of the game quickly changed. What Green and Suggs started the rest of the USA Team finished with a smoldering defense pushing lead back out to double digits going into half time.

When the USA Men's Team returned to the court they started where they left off with a sizzling defense and unselfish offensive play going on a 15 - 0 run. During the run, Suggs scored 10 of those points. USA Men's played an exciting transition ball game. They made the necessary passes making it difficult for the Lithuanians to keep stride. Off of the 22 turnovers created the USA got the ball up the floor and gave unselfishly for 28 transition points!

Jalen Green finished with 18 points and six rebounds leading the USA. Jalen Suggs added 15 points and grand larceny with six steals. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl netted another double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds; Kira Lewis Jr. was perfect from field with 11 points; Isaac Likekele added 11 points. Tyrese Haliburton gave out seven assists. Reggie Perry was just a few points shy of another double-double finishing with 14 rebounds and eight points.
