Stefan talks visits

As a 6-foot-3, 188 pound sharp shooter Cole Stefan has earned himself a national reputation. Cole recently took visits to the campuses of Auburn and USC, two of the schools that saw him play with Net Gain Sports this summer and then offered him scholarships. As a junior Stefan led the Skippers with 18.8 points a game.
Cole recently returned from trips to Auburn, Alabama and Los Angeles where he toured the campuses of Auburn and Southern Cal.

"I went to see just about everything Auburn had to offer," Stefan said. "They took us on a tour of the new gymnasium which was really nice. We saw their practice facility, took a tour of the football stadium, and they took us to the new dorms, the academic centers, the student union and the whole nine yards. It was kind of like a normal visit.
"Then at USC we basically did the same thing in a little bit shorter period of time as we had to catch a flight home. But we saw the area, the student housing, and everything they had to offer. Some of the same type of stuff we saw at Auburn."
Stefan has collected offers from USC, Auburn, Drake, Illinois State, Nevada, Northern Iowa, Tulsa, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Utah State, Oral Roberts, Montana State, and San Diego over the past year. Schools continuing to show interest include Pepperdine, Gonzaga, and Georgia. Cole is close to narrowing down his list.
"I'm kind of narrowing down my list but I haven't really released what I'm going to say yet about that," Stefan said. "I kind of have five schools that I'm still looking at but I'm not looking to make a decision any time soon."
