Travis lands first offer

DeLaSalle power forward prospect Jonah Travis is currently on a tour of several colleges with his Minnesota Pump N Run teammates. The 6-foot-5 explosive Travis picked up his first scholarship offer yesterday and it came from a division one school. Jonah is amongst the 2011 players that led the Pump 16s to the 17 and under AAU state title in Minnesota.
"Jonah got his first offer today," said Travis's coach for the Pump N Run Jeremy Miller. "The offer was extended by Northern Illinois. Jonah was a dominant player at the Loyola-Chicago camp and he carried it over to the Northern Illinois camp."

Travis is currently on a college tour and it started in Madison, Wisconsin.
"Jonah spent three hours at Wisconsin with coach Greg Gard," Miller stated. "He then went to Loyola from eight to four and then spent last night and today at Northern Illinois. Jonah may also check out UW-Milwaukee and possibly Marquette on Sunday. From there Jonah will go to UWGB on Monday. Then we fly out Wednesday for Colorado."
Expect to hear a lot more from Jonah when he returns from his tour of some Colorado schools next week.
