The number one football recruit in Minnesota has decided to take his talents across the border to Madison, Wisconsin and play for the Badgers. Kaden Johnson jumped onto the football scene with his first offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes after his sophomore season. Offering a kid that young was very rare for the Hawkeyes but believed Johnson was the real deal after attending a one day camp earlier in the summer. The 6'3", 235-pound outside linebacker held 14 Power Five program offers with Minnesota, LSU, Nebraska, being true contenders for the future NFL prospect.

This year has been a good one for the Wisconsin Badgers while lurking around Minnesota for top talent in football and basketball. Earlier in September, they got two of the top prospects in basketball, Eastview's Steven Crowl and Eastridge's Ben Carlson. Now they have the rights with his verbal commitment to the top prospect in football in Kaden Johnson. Johnson is a freakishly gifted athlete with speed and strength to disrupt offenses in the Big Ten. By his sophomore year, Johnson will have a Chase Young impact!.
