Woodard scores 41 in victory

Duluth East picked up their second straight victory last night defeating Minneapolis North 113-83. This weekend they traveled south to Minnetonka to beat number one ranked Minnesota Transitions in the Tip-Off Classic and two days later Johnny Woodard paced the Greyhounds with a massive double-double in the win over North.
As expected Woodard has been solid often scoring in the 20s but Monday night he took his game to another level dropping 41 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocks on Minneapolis North.

The 6-foot-4 wing is as physically capable as anybody because he's as strong as most college wings plus he moves with the type of agility that lets him get a look at the basket whenever. Last night Johnny scored however and whenever.
His partner in crime was once again fellow junior Taylor Stafford who contributed 25 points. Duluth East improved to 9-5 on the year.
Minneapolis North was paced by 19 points from Malik El-Amin.
